Vintage Northwest Coast First Nations Carved Wood Bowl

This was made by E. Ryan in British Columbia Canada. Metlakatala is a village near Prince Rupert BC.

And is part of the Tsimshian First Nations. Found at an estate sale this item measures 9 inches long, 6 inches wide and 2 3/8 inches tall. It is made of cedar wood and painted in traditional native style.

There are no cracks or serious damage. I did not try to clean this or put any kind of wax on this bowl.

A wonderful piece of First Nations art for the collector. Feel free to make an offer.
