The bison would congregate at the tops of hills and dust themselves, creating large wallows that they used for thousands of years. So long, in fact, that they don't hold much vegetation, to this day. Millions of buffalo can't be wrong.Well, the Indians would sneak up the hill and ambush the bison who were busy at the top. They would shoot arrows and drop the giants, and then finish them off with skull-crackers. Often, their arrow shafts would break, and handles of the tomahawks, and consequently were left behind.
