1860's Kwakiutl Ceremonial Dance Mask
Height 12.7" Width 9". He was a friend, business partner, and colleague of Marius Barbeau for many years who was a specialist and author of books on the North West Coast peoples. Borenstein obtained this important dance mask from Barbeau in the early 1950s and held it in great esteem until his death in 1969. It was inherited by his two daughters.
